After her much talked about reconciliation with Sarah Geronimo, Cristine Reyes finally broke her silence and confirmed mending fences with the singer.

In an exclusive interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Reyes explained why she evaded the media after she and Geronimo patched things up.

“Ayaw ko ng masyadong showbiz. Huwag na natin haluan ng showbiz ang pagbabati namin kaya mas minabuti ko na huwag na muna magpa-interview,” she said.

The sultry actress said what matters now is that everyone is at peace.

“Iwan na po natin iyon doon. Maging masaya na lang po kayo para sa amin,” she said.

Asked if she and Rayver Cruz already had the chance to watch Geronimo’s movie, she said: “Napanood na siya ng mga pamangkin ko kasi favorite siya noon. Pag nagkaroon ng time, siguro, kasi medyo busy. Hindi rin kami masyado nagkikita ngayon.”

Reyes is currently in a relationship with Cruz, who previously dated Geronimo.

December last year, Reyes blew her top over a snide remark that was allegedly made behind her back by Geronimo. An alleged comment by Geronimo during rehearsals for “ASAP” about how sexy women chase guys who are good dancers caught Reyes's ire.

Reyes took to the microblogging website Twitter to vent her anger against the pop star princess.

Geronimo and Reyes kissed and made up last March 20 at the backstage of "ASAP Rocks" after months of public misunderstanding.
